We will use this blog for everything related to the translation research. Check it on a regular basis for updates and comments. As you can see every post will have a time stamp right above every post. This will make it easy to keep track of the posts. On the left-hand side of the screen you can see the Blog Archive pull-down menu, click the down arrow and choose the day you want. When you click the title of the post, there appears a 'post a comment' line right under the post, click it and write your comment. Make sure you write your full name on every comment, so I know whose comment it is. Good Luck

When you click 'comments' check Name/URL, and write your name. It should show instead of 'YOUR NAME' right above this test comment.

thanks alot for your great cutting-edge contributions that would change the face of our Alsun. I know working on computers is VERY tiresome because i was involved in some similar work before. I hope this effort would be in the scale of your good deeds in sha' Allah.
Dear Mustapha,
Thank you for your good and encouraging words. By the way, this blog is Dr. Abeer's so she can use it to moderate the translation research with her students. It would be better in the future that you use my blog to post comments for me (http://linguisticsresearch.blogspot.com)
Best

I just want to ask a question in my translation. How can i translate the word Gada'na here. هذا السائق يسوق يأكل ويشرب ويدير المفاتيح للهو ويتناقش ويغازلز لو سألته كيف استطاع ان يفعل كل هذا في وقت واحد اجابك : دي جدعنة
Plzzzzz I have looked in many dictionaries but i can not find the right equivalent. I have found "intelligent, brave" but it does not fit here.
perhaps you need something informal for "brave". What about "plucky"?
Dear Friends,
Plz don't forget to attach a CD with all your work (theoretical and practical patrs) to your research when you hand it over.
Spread the word
Yasmin
PS: this is for all translation groups not only dr. Abir's
